IDLE-FREE COMMUNITY CHALLENGE

YREA designed a friendly challenge with an educational component between Markham and Newmarket to stop idling. This campaign resulted in the implementation of anti-idling bylaws in the two municipalities and was posted on the Federal website as an example of a successful drive.

In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, YREA continues to promote anti-idling measures.
